About Sonia
Sonia Rinaldi holds a degree in Anglo-Germanic Languages from Mackenzie University in São Paulo and a Master's degree in Religious Studies from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.
She is a co-founder and the Research Director of IPATI — the Institute for Advanced Research in Instrumental Transcommunication — and has been involved in Instrumental Transcommunication research for more than 40 years.
An international speaker, author, and columnist, she is widely recognized for her extensive experimental work with instrumental voices and transimages. Over the years, she has developed and tested innovative methods for investigating possible communications involving extracorporeal consciousness. She was also among the pioneers in the use of computers, telephones, mobile phones, and other electronic and optical systems in Instrumental Transcommunication experiments.
Her published work includes approximately 280 documented research reports presenting experimental results, case studies, technical observations, and possible scientific interpretations. She is also the author of 15 printed books and has participated in numerous international conferences, interviews, lectures, and online programs devoted to Instrumental Transcommunication, consciousness studies, and research into the survival of consciousness after bodily death.
She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
